Scope:
- Overhaul Complete of aux. engine Doosan LO66TIH
- Overhaul Complete of aux. engine MWM 226
- Overhaul Turbo blower
For both engines injectors – cylinder heads – fuel pump – oil cooler – liners – pistons were overhauled.
During testing some issues showed up:
On low load conditions cooling water temperatures is not ok.
When running the engine on high load conditions (50kw), engine is overheating.
Decision was made to adjust the cooling water system.
After installation of the new delivered parts and cleaning of the several cooling water pipes we advised to fill up the cooling water system by a good CW inhibitor to avoid pollution in the system.
